With this operation, Compensa Capital Humano accelerates its plans for growth, international expansion and the development of new business models, and Howden Iberia reinforces its commitment to specialization and will be able to offer its customers a 360º service.

The insurance broker Howden Iberia, fourth in the market by volume of business in Spain, and part of the international Howden Broking Group (‘Howden’), has acquired 60 percent of the share capital of Compensa Capital Humano, the company that provides related services to Total Compensation, leaders in the management of Flexible Remuneration Plans and management of social benefits, and specialists in the areas of communication, conciliation of personal and work life as well as in the promotion of complementary social security.

After the operation, the two companies plan to close 2020 with more than 32 million euros of joint revenue and 9 million euros of Ebitda in Iberia. The team resulting from the operation will have more than 370 employees, spread across 16 offices in Spain, Mexico and Portugal.

Carlos Delgado, founder of Compensa Capital Humano, will continue as CEO of the operation, managing it independently and simultaneously assuming the international position of Chairman of the Employee Flex Platforms and Employee Engagement within the global practice of Howden’s Employee Benefits.

Salvador Marín, CEO of Howden Iberia, will assume the Presidency of Compensa Capital Humano.
